wrapping up for the new year

As we look back on 2024, we’re filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible work that’s come out of our studio this year. Each artist has pushed themselves in new directions, experimenting with techniques and honing their craft. From intricate black and grey pieces to vibrant colour realism, we’ve witnessed so much growth and creativity. Here’s a recap of the highlights, along with some of our favourite tattoos from the year.

A Year of Growth, Creativity, and Community

Looking back, it’s impossible not to feel a deep sense of gratitude for the talented artists who make this place what it is, and the amazing clients who walk through our doors with trust and excitement in their hearts. We’ve had the pleasure of creating everything from delicate minimal designs to bold full-sleeves, memorial tattoos to abstract pieces—and every single one has been special in its own way.

Glen

As the shop owner, Glen has been at the forefront of some of our most exciting developments this year. His focus on colour realism, particularly with pet portraits, has been nothing short of remarkable. Glen’s attention to detail and his ability to capture the true essence of his subjects is a constant source of inspiration.

This year, he also hosted a successful Colour Realism Seminar, where he shared his knowledge and techniques with other artists. His work has evolved tremendously, and we’ve all been amazed at the depth and vibrancy of his colour portraits. It’s clear that 2024 was a year of refinement for Glen, and we’re looking forward to seeing where he takes his realism in the year ahead.

Wes

Wes has continued to impress us all with his skill in blending black and grey realism with Chicano influences. He has spent a lot of time this year refining his technique, focusing on achieving a more opaque, high-contrast look in his pieces.

His intricate shading and detailed linework have always stood out, but this year’s shift towards even more depth and contrast has brought his work to a new level. Whether it’s the powerful emotion in his portraits or the bold lines in his Chicano-inspired designs, Wes’s work always carries a strong visual impact. We’re all excited to see what he’ll achieve in 2025, especially as he continues to explore new ways to push his style even further

Katie

Katie’s journey into colour realism this year has been an exciting one. Known for her beautiful mandalas and fine line work, she’s seamlessly incorporated colour into her pieces, creating stunning, dynamic tattoos. Her ability to combine delicate dotwork and mandala elements with the depth and realism of colour has been a true standout this year.

Katie’s personal style continues to evolve, and it’s been incredible to see her embrace new challenges. For 2025, she’s eager to take her colour realism even further, and we can’t wait to see how her style continues to grow and flourish in the coming year.

Eden

Eden has once again amazed us with her versatility and creative range. This year, she’s tackled a wide variety of tattoo styles, from bold linework to intricate dotwork and delicate realism. Her ability to blend multiple styles into a single piece is something we all admire, and her work continues to push boundaries.

Whether it’s a black and grey portrait, a delicate dotwork design, or a splash of colour, Eden’s work always feels fresh and unique. Her artistic evolution has been one of the highlights of this year, and we’re eager to see how she further develops her individual style in 2025.

Charlotte

Charlotte’s work this year has been all about bold, big pieces in black and grey, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the scale and depth she’s brought to each project. Her ability to create massive, intricate designs that still feel perfectly balanced and cohesive is something truly special.

Charlotte’s shading and texture work are second to none, and it’s clear she’s really found her stride with large-scale black and grey tattoos. This year, she’s taken on some truly epic pieces, and we’re excited to see what even bigger challenges she’ll take on next year.

2024 Highlights: A Year of Collective Growth

Looking back on the year, we’re so proud of the way each of our artists has pushed their craft to new heights. Glen’s colour realism, Wes’s exploration of opaque black and grey, Katie’s fusion of mandala and realism, Eden’s diverse range of styles, and Charlotte’s breathtaking large-scale black and grey pieces have all been standouts. It’s been a year of both personal growth and collective success, and we couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds.

As a studio, we’re grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented individuals who continuously inspire us with their creativity, passion, and commitment to their craft. We can’t wait to see where 2025 takes us all — there’s no doubt it will be another year full of amazing tattoos, new challenges, and endless inspiration.

Thank you to all of our clients for your trust and support, and we look forward to creating even more unforgettable pieces with you in the year ahead!
